Wanna One Alum Updates: Kang Daniel & Yoon Ji Sung Sign Under New Agency; Ask Fans For Fan Club Name Ideas

Former Wanna One members Kang Daniel and Yoon Ji Sung are now under new agency. The two along with Bae Jin Young are also now accepting ideas for the name of their respective fan club.

A month after the contracts of Kang Daniel and Yoon Ji Sung with Swing Entertainment ended, their contract with their mother agency MMO Entertainment also ended on January 31. Starting on February 1, the two will be under new agency, LM Entertainment.

"The two artists ended up joining LM Entertainment on the foundation of deep trust, and we plan to decide on the direction of their future activities after careful discussion. We promise to do our utmost to support the [two] artists, who are preparing to make a fresh start," LM Entertainment said (via Soompi).

Kang Daniel and Yoon Ji Sung signed up with MMO Entertainment when they appeared on Mnet's Produce 101 Season 2. They subsequently debuted in 2017 as members of the show's group Wanna One and have been promoted under Swing Entertainment.

The two along with the nine other members of Wanna One recently concluded their official activities with their final four-day concert, titled Therefore. The concert series took place from January 24 to 27 at the Gocheok SkyDome in Seoul.

Daniel earlier hinted that he will be making his solo debut in April. At the time, MMO Entertainment also confirmed that the K-pop idol's plan to make a solo debut in April. Apparently, the singer will debut as a solo artist with a release of a new song.

As for Yoon Ji Sung, he is set to kick off his solo career before he starts with his mandatory military service this year. He plans to release a solo album soon.

Ji Sung is also set to make his debut on stage in a popular musical, The Days. Ji Sung will be playing the role of Moo Young, a presidential bodyguard. He will portray the role with alternating with actors Oh Jong Hyuk, On Joo Hwan, and INFINITE member Nam Woohyun. The musical is set to open on February 22 at the Blue Square Interpark Hall.

Meanwhile, Kang Daniel, Yoon Ji Sung, and Bae Jin Young have been asking fans to submit name ideas for their respective fan club. Daniel and Ji Sung are accepting ideas until February 3. Jin Young, on the other hand, will be until February 7.
