The Korean fever continues to dominate the world with the country's hottest pop stars, actors, and actresses. Aside from the upcoming HALLYUPOPFEST 2018, the country's most sought-after Hallyu stars have now been revealed.

According to The Korea Times, Psy topped the Korea Foundation for International Culture Exchange's (KOFICE) list as the No. 1 Hallyu star fans all over the world want to see. The 41-year-old star, whose real name is Park Jae Sang, shot to fame with his 2012 hit song "Gangnam Style." He is also the first Korean singer that made it to the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The second one on the list is Lee Min Ho. Thanks to his top-rating drama series, Boys Over Flowers and The Heirs, the 31-year-old actor's fame skyrocketed. He is known as Suzy Bae's former boyfriend and is also famous in the Middle East.

The famous Song-Song couple, Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo, got the third and fourth spot, respectively. The two have been known for their own hit Korean television series until they worked together on Descendants of the Sun in 2016. The reel-to-real couple is popular in China.

To complete the top five hottest Hallyu stars in Korea, BTS got the last spot. With the group's fame around the world, particularly in the U.S., it is not surprising that the South Korean band is included on the list. V, Jimin, Jin, Suga, Jungkook, RM, and J-Hope continuously dominate local and international music charts given their comeback album, Love Yourself: Tear.

Talking about Korean Hallyu, the biggest three-day music festival in Southeast Asia, HALLYUPOPFEST 2018, is soon happening. About 21 of the hottest K-pop groups and idols will be gracing the special event that will be running from September 7 to 9 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, per HelloKpop.

HALLYUPOPFEST 2018 will feature the performances of Taeyeon, Wanna One, BTOB, Apink, AOA, Momoland, NCT 127, and Eric Nam. Also, gugudan, Yu Seungwoo, Jeong Sewoon, DREAMCATCHER, and MYTEEN, Huh Gak, and Victon, among others, will come to the event.

There will be red carpet events, global auditions, meet and greets, and of course, concerts happening at HALLYUPOPFEST 2018. This will be the first time that a huge three-day music festival is going to be held in Singapore and Southeast Asia. Hence, this will be a big treat for Hallyu fans in the country.
