MOMOLAND Fans Ask BLINKs Not To Misunderstand Nancy’s Alleged Glare At BLACKPINK
MOMOLAND’s Nancy got a lot of hate recently, especially from BLACKPINK fans, after seeing the young star seemingly glaring at Jisoo, Jennie, Rose, and Lisa in Music Core. Now, fans of the nine-member group are asking BLINKs to understand Nancy.
BLACKPINK has been on a winning streak, and many thought that MOMOLAND’s Nancy might be getting a little jealous by it. In fact, netizens pointed out that the 18-year-old South Korean singer and dancer was glaring at Jisoo, Jennie, Rose, and Lisa while they were giving their acceptance speech.
Before things got out of hand, MOMOLAND fans tried to explain Nancy’s reaction. The group’s supporters noted that the young star was just tired since they were in the middle of their promotion when the award show was held. One fan even said that Nancy did clap for BLACKPINK in the end, proving that she had no ill-feeling towards Jisoo, Jennie, Rose, and Lisa.
“Nancy’s just tired, that’s all,” the fan explained. “And that look? That’s [the] face of a girl who didn’t have [enough] sleep and rest for almost two months! Please BLACKPINK fans, don’t misunderstand our Nancy, she even clapped for them.”.
Clips of Nancy seemingly glaring at BLACKPINK made rounds on the internet, but maybe people should watch the whole video first before making their judgment. Before the “glaring” incident, it appeared that the MOMOLAND maknae was actually staring at Jennie’s outfit, probably silently admiring her trendy style. She also checked out the other members' clothes.
When Lisa made her speech, Nancy was looking straight at the audience and only moved her eyes to look at the BLACKPINK rapper. Since Lisa was at the far left of Nancy, it made it appear that she was glaring at the girls.
With all the fan wars in the K-pop world, it is best that people shouldn’t make a big deal out of a little thing to avoid chaos and rivalry. BLACKPINK is currently enjoying their superstardom status, and there is a high chance that MOMOLAND is looking up to them.
