TWICE is undeniably one of the most successful K-pop girl groups to date. Although the nine-member group debuted just three years ago, they have garnered a lot of followers but also a couple of haters along the way.

TWICE members Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chantoung, and Tzuyu are known for their catchy songs and cute concept. Despite being fairly young as a group, the JYP Entertainment band quickly gathered a cult-like following. But while many adored the girls and their songs, some are less than impressed.

Since TWICE is getting a lot of attention for their growing popularity, it could have signaled a threat to other fandoms. Despite having one of the largest fan clubs in K-pop right now, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chantoung, and Tzuyu also have a large number of anti-fans as well.

These haters are definitely not discreet. They would constantly leave negative comments on TWCIE’s photos, videos, and news articles. In fact, the JYP Entertainment group’s “Knock Knock,” “TT,” and “Cheer Up” music videos have the most dislikes by a K-pop group on YouTube.

Despite this unnecessary hate, TWICE’s popularity is still growing by the minute. The funny thing is that Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chantoung, and Tzuyu are so popular that even their haters have their own fandom name, THRICE. TWICE’s fans are called ONCE.

On top of that, THRICE had been so obsessed with monitoring TWICE’s activities that they fail to realize that they are adding to the girls’ view counts on YouTube. As a matter of fact, TWICE’s “TT” is the most-watched K-pop girl group music video of all time.

Meanwhile. It’s no secret that the K-pop world is a very competitive industry. Not only are the artists and groups working really hard, sometimes even way too hard, just to reach the top spot, but their fans are also causing a riot on all social media platforms. Unfortunately, these fandom wars are creating a rivalry in the K-pop world even though the artists and groups have friendly and professional competition and they are actually good pals in real life.
