Wanna One's Kang Daniel, 'Goblin' Star Gong Yoo, Park Seo Joon Wow Consumers As Advertisement Models
The latest list of popular male advertisement models has revealed a new chart leader with Wanna One's Kang Daniel at first place. Not to be outdone by the K-pop idol, Goblin actor Gong Yoo, and What's Wrong with Secretary Kim star Park Seo Joon also the impressive spots on the said list.
Wanna One band member Kang Daniel reigned over the latest brand reputation list for male advertisement models. For the month of June, the K-pop star landed at number one with a brand reputation index of 1,073,888, according to data from the Korean Business Research Institute. The singer's latest scores represented a big jump for the said idol whose previous month ranking was at third place.
To come up with the data, the said institute collated information about the consumers' behavior in seeing male advertisement models. Several categories were also reviewed such as social values, communication, participation, the and media exposure.
Unlike the rising trend of Wanna One band member Kang Daniel's position on the said chart, Gong Yoo held onto his second-place ranking. For the month of June, the Goblin star remained at the same level with a brand reputation score of 768,187.
Park Seo Joon rose one step up from the actor's previous month ranking to his current number three placement. The Fight for My Way star even enjoyed a 46.98 percent increase in scores and landed at third place with a brand reputation index of 672,836.
Other male celebrities who made it to the lists' Top 10 include Something in the Rain actor Jung Hae In and Sung Dong II at fourth and fifth place, respectively. Baek Jong Won, Jun Hyun Moo, Running Man star Yoo Jae Suk, comedian Jo Se Ho and Ryu Jun Yeol nabbed the remaining five spots on the said chart's bottom half.
Meanwhile, Park Seo Joon continued to gain more popularity online given the successful release of the tvN drama What's Wrong with Secretary Kim. The actor topped the Most Buzzworthy Actor list for the week of June 11 to June 17, according to the Good Data Corporation.
Released on June 18, the list also included two of Park Seo Joon's co-stars from What's Wrong with Secretary Kim. Park Min Young nabbed the second spot on the said list, while Lee Tae Hwan landed at fourth place. The three South Korean celebrities portray the roles of Young Joon, Mi So and Sung Yeon, respectively.
