The tvN romantic comedy series What's Wrong with Secretary Kim continue to post impressive ratings and heading towards a highly coveted double-digit mark. Given the amazing onscreen chemistry between lead stars Park Seo Joon and Park Min Young, the drama recently gained more viewership shares.

What's Wrong with Secretary Kim Episode 6 became a milestone episode for the tvN series. Aired on June 21, the drama registered its highest rating since premiering in early June. Viewership share across the South Korean nation was at 7.687 percent, according to Nielsen Korea. The said rating is 0.832 percentage points higher than the previous episode.

In the Seoul metropolitan area, the Park Seo Joon and Park Min Young starrer also saw a rise in ratings. Viewership shares rose from the previous episode's 7.5 percent to 8.554 percent.

The recent eight percent rating in Seoul marked the second time that the drama reached the said level. What's Wrong with Secretary Kim Episode 3 posted viewership shares of 8.252 percent when it was released on June 13.

The rise in viewership shares can be attributed to the growing romance between Park Seo Joon and Park Min Young's characters in the drama. Portraying the narcissistic Young Joon and the secretary Mi So, respectively, the two South Korean celebrities' funny expressions and excellent acting also captured the hearts of avid viewers.

What's Wrong with Secretary Kim even became a hot topic among netizens. The romantic comedy series nabbed the first spot on Good Data Corporation's "Most Buzzworthy Drama" list. For the chart covering the period of June 11 until June 17, the Park Seo Joon and Park Min Young series topped the said list with an impressive score of 23.44 percent.

Other dramas that made it to the same list included the sci-fi romantic series Are You Human Too at second place with 9.82 percent. The recently concluded KBS drama Suits came in at number three, followed by tvN's Lawless Lawyer and JTBC's Miss Hammurabi with scores of 9.32 percent, 7.46 percent and 6.26 percent, respectively.

What's Wrong with Secretary Kim airs every Wednesday and Thursday on tvN. Are You Human Too and Miss Hammurabi follows a Monday to Tuesday primetime schedule, while Lawless Lawyer releases new episodes every Saturday and Sunday.
