The life of a South Korean actor can be quite dangerous, and the same can be said for Lee Jun Ki. The 36-year-old actor revealed that he was almost beaten up on set by a co-star because he arrived 10 minutes late to a scheduled shoot for one of their shows.

The said co-star who nearly assaulted Lee Jun Ki was none other than actor Choi Min Soo during their stint together for television show Lawless Lawyer. Granted, Choi Min Soo revealed that it was just a prank for Lee Jun Ki and was definitely not a serious threat, though Lee Jun Ki almost thought otherwise.

Lee Jun Ki revealed this on May 8 for a press conference with Seo Ye Ji, Lee Hye Young, Choi Min Soo, and director Kim Jin Min for their new show Lawless Lawyer. The actor told the press that he was pranked by Choi Min Soo when he arrived 10 minutes late to one of their shoots. Choi Min Soo was already fighting with another staff member when Lee Jun Ki arrived, and when the former shouted toward where was Lee Jun Ki was, Lee very much thought that he was going to get beat up.

Luckily for Lee Jun Ki, it was just a hidden camera prank, and Choi Min Soo would not really have done it. Not to mention that it would have resulted in quite a headache of a lawsuit is Choi Min Soo assaulted Lee Jun Ki, as well as some crazy fan backlash. His fight with the staff was also presumably part of the prank and was they intended for Lee Jun Ki to see that.

It was not revealed who thought of the scary prank for Lee Jun Ki, but hopefully, it does not happen again since it definitely gave the actor a genuine fright. Choi Min Soo, on the other hand, though highly of Lee Jun Ki and even praised him since Lee was some of the most dedicated members on set. Choi Min Soo also claimed that Lee Jun Ki did not eat or sleep during the filming process.

Other members of the staff also worked hard for Lawless Lawyer, and everyone had quite a difficult time on the set according to Choi Min Soo. Regardless, everyone involved in Lawless Lawyer seems to be safe including Lee Jun Ki, and they are now ready for their new television show which is set to be released on May 12.
