'The Blacklist' Season 5 Finale Spoilers: Liz Keen Might Discover That Mysterious Bones Belong To More Than One Person
The fifth season of The Blacklist has certainly been an interesting one for Elizabeth Keen. After all, the FBI profiler endured the death of her husband Tom and the eventual search for his killer. However, it looks like Liz is set for bigger things in The Blacklist Season 5 finale. The truth about the mysterious bones in the duffel bag will finally be revealed in "Sutton Ross" and it is expected to be a major gamechanger for Liz and Raymond Reddington.
There have been several theories about the bones since they were first introduced in the NBC series. Although it is evident that Red already knows something about the remains, Liz Keen, and the viewers have yet to learn anything aside from its possible identity. But could The Blacklist Season 5 finale confirm that there is more than just one person in the bag? There is a possibility that Red's big secret will be uncovered later this May.
Jon Bokenkamp has teased that the bones will play a major part in The Blacklist Season 5 finale. The executive producer told Entertainment Weekly that the highly anticipated episode "is built around a major reveal that’s been closely guarded since the inception of The Blacklist." In addition to that, Bokenkamp stated that "ardent fans of the show" will be able to pick up on it right away. "Not only is this twist going to blow up the show, but it’s going to change everything we do moving forward," he concluded.
But what could this mean for Liz and Red? There are speculations that the revelation in The Blacklist Season 5 finale might have something to do with the connection between the two. It could also be revealed that the bones belong to more than just one person and a second victim will be discovered in the remains.
"Whether or not he is her father, we look at it as a father-daughter story,"
