Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani's nearly 13-year marriage is said to have ended because of the Bush frontman's affair with Mindy Mann, the family's long-time nanny, reports Vanity Fair.

Gavin and Mindy had a relationship for three years.

In February, the No Doubt singer discovered her husband's long-time affair with Mann, who cared for the pair's three boys, Kingston who's nine years old, Zuma seven years old, and Apollo 20 months.

At this time, Gwen Stefani discovered nude photos of Mindy Mann, explicit texts between Gavin Rossdale and the nanny and their plans to meet up for sexm according to sources.

"The iPad was linked to Gavin's phone," a family source tells Us. "One of the other nannies discovered the exchange and told Gwen." 

Mann was fired soon after, but 50-year old Rossdale insisted he and the nanny were just flirting with each other.

Months later, the musician confessed to the affair, prompting Gwen to end their marriage. The couple announced their split in August.

New reports suggest that Gavin left the hospital after Gwen gave birth to their youngest son to sleep with the nanny, according to Access Hollywood's source.

The source also claimed that the nanny would bring the kids to see Rossdale while he was touring and they would have sex on the tour bus. This would happen when the kids are asleep and while Stefani was taping "The Voice."

Stefani shared Tuesday, that the divorce inspired her to record her upcoming album, out next year.

"I would consider it a breakup record," Gwen said. "I only had two boyfriends. I wrote two records about them. You know what I mean? It's just weird. It just makes me believe in God and my journey. My cross to bear was to go through these heartbreaks and write these songs and help people."

Since splitting from Gavin Rossdale, Gwen Stefani has begun dating fellow "The Voice" coach, Blake Shelton.
