BTS, Apink Top Brand Reputation Rankings Of Idol Groups In July; EXO, Seventeen, MAMAMOO, TWICE Follow
The brand reputation rankings of idol groups in South Korea for the month of July has just been released. It has been revealed that some groups maintained their places while new ones took the top spots.
The Korean Business Research Institute took into consideration the communication, interaction, media coverage, and community indexes of more than 65 million data pieces from June 6 to July 7 of this year. It has been revealed that Apink has nabbed the top spot from TWICE of the monthly brand reputation ranking for girl groups in South Korea. Apink has earned a brand reputation index of more than 6.17 million, which was more than 45 percent higher than their score last month.
MAMAMOO takes the second spot after garnering a brand reputation index of more than 6.13 million, which was an estimated 58 percent increase compared to their score in the June brand reputation ranks. TWICE went down to third place after gaining only 6.05 million scores for the brand reputation index. Apink broke TWICE’s record of holding the top spot for the said ranking for eight consecutive months. Veteran girl groups T-ARA, Girls’ Generation, and Rainbow are still in the ranks, taking the fourth, 11th, and 13th spots respectively.
Meanwhile, BTS maintains their top spot as they take the lead once again for this month’s brand reputation ranking for boy groups. BTS, also known as Bangtan Boys, continues their streak as they earned more than 11.15 million brand reputation index. BTS has been the highest ranked boy group in brand reputation for several months now because of their rise in popularity all over the world.
EXO and Seventeen trail behind at second and third places, respectively. EXO got a score of more than 10.12 million and Seventeen had only an estimated score of 8.83 million brand reputation index. Veteran groups such as Sechskies, SHINee, F.T. Island, Shinhwa, Super Junior, 2PM, TVXQ, and Big Bang also made the cut. Highlight and their former group, BEAST even made the list.
