‘Grand Theft Auto VI’ Latest News & Update: No Signs Of Development; ‘GTA V’ DLC, Spin-Off Instead?
"Grand Theft Auto VI" fans are now excited about new details regarding the release of the popular action-adventure video game. Unfortunately, latest reports suggest that the "Grand Theft Auto V" is getting another DLC, including a likely spin-off prior to the release of a game sequel.
No Signs of "Grand Theft Auto VI" Development - Until now, there is still no indication that "Grand Auto Theft VI" is under development, including the likely release timeframe. According to reports, Rockstar could repeat an earlier move involving the previous "GTA" installments, which is dropping some expansion packs and spin-offs prior to releasing a follow-up to the past recent installments. If this happens, the spin-off is expected to be set in Vice City or any town that was earlier highlighted in the previous games.
Given that there is a high chance that a spin-off may happen, "Grand Auto Theft VI" will unlikely be released this year. This means that the sequel will possibly be launched between 2018 and 2019.
"Grand Theft Auto VI," meantime, was supposed to be set in Tokyo, but the idea was later dropped because of the country's difficult road system. That said, the sequel may instead be set in London or Japan, Expert Reviews reported.
Delayed Release Of "Grand Theft Auto VI" May Work To Its Advantage - The delayed release date of "Grand Theft Auto VI" is being blamed to the game's never-ending popularity. Interestingly, pushing back its release date may even bring some positive results, as Rockstar may have more time to develop the next title. However, the developers have not given an official announcement yet regarding the highly awaited "Grand Auto Theft VI," which means every detail should be taken with a grain of salt, Playstation Lifestyle reported.
