Twentieth Century Fox World Dubai, a theme park that will feature attractions based on TV shows and films, is set to open in 2018, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Rupert Murdoch's Twentyfirst Century Fox Inc. disclosed a licensing deal with Al Alhi Holding Group on Tuesday.

The brand's first theme park is currently being built in Malaysia, and gates will be open in 2016. The entertainment and leisure park is part of Resorts World Genting, approximately an hour outside Kuala Lumpur, revealed CNN.

The 25-acre park will have more than 25 attractions and the rides will be based on films like "Ice Age," "Rio," "Night at the Museum," and "Planet Of The Apes."

"The opening of the first Twentieth Century Fox theme park at Resorts World Genting takes our rich history of storytelling to a whole new level and will provide an exceptional entertainment experience," said Jeffrey Godsick, President of Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products, in a statement.

To build the park, Twentieth Century Fox has partnered with Genting Malaysia, a leisure and hospitality company.

Twentieth Century Fox World Dubai, will have a broad attraction mix, with rides ranging from 'The Simpsons', 'Titanic',  to 'Sons of Anarchy.' Some of the rides will be for children, and other attractions will be for adults.

The list does not include 'Avatar' because it is has been licensed to, and is being built at Walt Disney World, in Orlando, Florida. They plan to open the themed land in 2017, reports ABC.

Also, the world's first Fox-themed resort hotel will be built here.

Based on the plans, the theme park in Dubai will have themed street where guests can enjoy a unique shopping and dining experience.
