"Dragon Ball Super" Episode 89 Recap: At the start of the episode, Goku visits Roshi, but he is not at home and Oolong informs Goku that he is at Tenshinhan's dojo. At the dojo, Tenshinhan is seen teaching his students to concentrate their ki. However, the students are unable to concentrate and they ask for an example.

Roshi is unhappy with the students. Meanwhile, a lady comes and she is looking for a bald man with three eyes. She is a new student at the dojo.

In "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 89, she introduces herself as Yurin and she has no prior martial arts experience. However, she has learned that martial arts are good for the figure. Tenshinhan tells her to find another dojo as they cannot teach her, but Roshi agrees to teach her. Yurin wants to learn from Tenshinhan.

Meanwhile, Goku arrives at the dojo and Tenshinhan dismisses the class. He is happy that Tenshinhan has kept up with his training. Goku tells him about the Tournament of Power. Meanwhile, Roshi has dressed the new girl in a mini skirt and the pervert head wants to take her pictures in "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 89. But, Yurin believes that Roshi can be good for her true purpose.

Yurin has other plans and she wonders if Roshi has found out about her plans, but he is clueless. She pulls out a few talismans. Meanwhile, Tenshinhan puts down Goku's offer to participate in the Tournament of Power as he cannot leave his students unattended. A student's bangs on the door to inform that some of the students are wrecking havoc in town.

Elsewhere, Caulifra refuses the offer made by Cabba. He tells Caulifra that the universe is at stake but she doesn't seem to care. Cabba tells her that he will teach her how to become a Super Saiyan. She is intrigued. Back on Earth, Roshi can sense that there some sort of sorcery going on and Chiaotzu cannot use the powers.

It is revealed in "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 89 that Yurin wants to take down Tenshinhan's dojo. She seeks revenge for not being trained by Tenshinhan when she was a kid. Roshi wants Tenshinhan and Goku to take care of the students who are possessed.

Roshi decides to take on Yurin and we witness Bankoku-Bikkuri-Sho. Goku believes that he can check Roshi's powers in the battle. However, there is not much time and he fires the Kamehameha as Chiaotzu takes down Yurin. Later, Tenshinhan, impressed by Yurin's will and determination, invites her to train with his students in his dojo. Towards the end of "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 89, Tenshinhan tells Goku that he will be a part of the tournament as the prize money can help him pay the damages.
