‘Once Upon A Time’ Season 6 Spoilers: Emma Meets Scariest Opponent? Jennifer Morrison Talks Black Fairy's Motives
Beloved characters of "Once Upon a Time" Season 6 will have to face a powerful and dark opponent in upcoming episodes. Latest spoiler news teased of Emma (Jennifer Morrison) and Gideon's (Giles Matthey) tenuous partnership to defeat the Black Fairy.
Earlier episodes of "Once Upon a Time" Season 6 featured Emma's journey to change her prophesied death and her battle with Gideon, the person who was supposed to kill her. However, the Storybrooke Savior's destiny changed when Gideon offered a deal for Emma to defeat the Black Fairy (Jaime Murray) in exchange for Hook's (Colin O'Donoghue) return. Given how the former pirate was banished to roam the seas in Fairy Tale Land, it will take Gideon's powers to bring him back or Hook hunting the mythical Kraken for its blood so he could return home.
However, Gideon's demand for Emma to kill the Black Fairy will be a challenging ordeal in "Once Upon a Time" Season 6. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Jennifer Morrison commented that Emma and her friends' being clueless about the said villain's abilities and motives will make the fight a scary prospect. The actress added, "She's definitely someone that we know has existed in pure darkness for a very long time and has been the root of a lot of the darkness without us having known that she was the initiator of things ... so we're all in a race to find her, deal with her and cut off any resources she has to darkness."
Meanwhile, the upcoming "Once Upon a Time" Season 6 episode will feature Emma and Gideon's first attempt to fight the Black Fairy together. Despite the Storybrooke Savior's initial apprehensions of partnering with Gideon, Gold (Robert Carlyle) and Belle (Emilie de Ravin) will help to convince Emma that teaming up with their son will be the best way to defeat the said villain, according to episode spoilers posted on Spoilers Guide.
