Rain Returns on Stage with A New Single
A representative of Rain has just confirmed that the singer will soon make a comeback in the music industry. Rain is already scheduled to perform on "A Hyung I Know", a variety show from JTBC, in January. It has been 2 years since Rain last released his album so fans are very excited about the news.
According to the representative from Rain's label, the singer is already preparing for his comeback music performance next year and one of it will be at JTBC's famous variety show. Rain last released his album in 2014 titled "Rain Effect" which included "La Song" and "30 Sexy"
In the entertainment industry, Rain is very active as he just finished a tv series titled "Come Back Alive" last April and is reported to join another series titled "Endless August". Before that, he was busy with "My Lovely Girl" series in 2014. But probably one of his unforgettable movies was when he was acting alongside international star Bruce Willis, John Cusack, and many more for the movie "The Prince". The movie was filmed completely in the US and was shown in selected theaters.
In 2012, Rain or Jung Ji Hoon had to temporarily step out of the limelight to complete his military training requirement in Korea. His service lasted for 21 months which all happened in Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi-do province. While he was in military service, he was appointed as the Honorary Ambassador of Military and moved to the Defense Media Agency of the Ministry of National Defense in Seoul.
A year after that, the 34-year-old actor was reported to be dating actress Kim Tae Hee even while in compulsory military service. This wasn't allowed in his military service so an investigation has been implemented and punishment. In July 2013, Rain was discharged from the army.
