Speculations about an upcoming wedding for "True Blood" star Alexander Skarsgard and girlfriend Alexa Chung have been circulating around over the recent months.
The rumors started when Alexander Skarsgard spent Christmas with girlfriend Alexa Chung's family in her hometown. Reportedly, the 39-year-old bonded with the British TV personality's father.
A source told to Grazia Magazine, as noted by International Business Times, "Alexa's relationship with Alex is going great."
"That's why she was happy for him to meet her family - she would only ever introduce someone she was serious about to them. Alex seemed to get on well with Alexa's dad Philip," source added.
This couple has not been spotted together much as they are keen on keeping their relationship private.
The Couple was first rumored to be dating in early June last year when they were photographed holding hands and laying together on grass at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden in the city, according to E! Online.
Later they were snapped together at the 2015 Glastonbury Music Festival in England.
They were hand in hand at Los Angeles International Airport in July and in New York City in the same month.
But Alexander Skarsgard and girlfriend Alexa Chung were not photographed together for a long time up until October of last year when they were snapped walking close to each other in New York City, reported E! Online.
The couple spent quality time together in Miami to ring in the New Year. They were accompanied by Rita Ora and British radio presenter Nick Grimshaw.
"Alex and Alexa looked really happy handing out on the beach - her friends kept commenting on how great they looked as a couple and how totally into each other they were. It seems as if Alex and Alexa really could go the distance," the source told IBT.
However, if the two will announce their wedding date, nobody would be in the least surprised.
According to Grazia magazine, Alexander Skarsgard and Alexa Chung even shortlisted a luxurious stately home in England as their dream wedding destination.
