'Me Before You' Trailer Promises Heartwarming Romance And Inspiring Story Set In English Countryside
Fans of the "Game of Thrones" and the "Hunger Games" as the movie starring Emilia Clarke and Sam Clafin "Me Before You" has released its first trailer.
You can watch it here.
The movie, which is directed by Thea Sharrock, is an adaptation of the New York Times bestseller Jojo Moyes novel.
According to Variety, the film is about Louisa Clark who will meet Will Traynor, a man paralyzed from the neck down. The movie will revolve around that meeting, and film will be set in the English countryside.
Variety said that the film promises to show what it's like to have your life changed even in the midst of crippling diversity.
As the "Me Before You" trailer showed, Traynor will nurse a feeling like Thea is "pretty much the only thing that makes me want to get up in the morning."
The news site noted of the diverse British cast who appear in the film. It will feature Charles Dance, Jenna Coleman, Matthew Lewis, Vanessa Kirby, Stephen Peacocke, Brendan Coyle and Janet McTeer.
In an interview with USA Today, Clarke said it was a challenge playing strong characters when she was quite different in real life.
"I'm really quite clumsy, say the wrong thing all the time and am awkward at the best of times. My friends and family have seen this other person every single day."
This is despite the fact that she has extensive experience playing strong characters. Most notably, she is Daenerys Targaryen in "Game of Thrones" and Sarah Connor in "Terminator Genisys."
The largely British cast promises to bring together a delightful, heartwarming romance.
As the "Me Before You" trailer hits cinemas and monitors all over the world, fans can expect a sequel, as the book series also has one. The movie opens in theaters on June 3.
