After all this time: TWICE Becomes First K-Pop Girl Group To Achieve This On Billboard + Check Out Their Cummulative Sales

No one can stop TWICE! Seven years since its debut, the JYP Entertainment girl group continue to impress  the K-Pop scene: setting new records one after the other.

TWICE is taking over Billboard, US

TWICE recently returned with the  mini album "BETWEEN 1&2" and almost two months in, it is still charting on Billboard. In fact, TWICE's "Between 1&2" made its debut at No. 3 on Billboard's Top 200 Albums chart. Such a feat makes TWICE the first female K-Pop Artist to score three top 10 albums on Billboard.

Additionally, TWICE's "BETWEEN 1&2" is the first album by a female K-Pop act to spend six weeks on the Billboard 200 this 2022 after charting at No. 129 for the week ending on October 15. Not only that but TWICE's "BETWEEN 1&2" has also managed to climb back up to No. 2 on Billboard's World Albums Chart this week.

TWICE's achievements for their most recent mini-album doesn't stop there though. "BETWEEN 1&2" has also ranked 9th on the Top Current Album Sales Chart, No. 10 on the Top Album Sales chart, as well as No. 22 on the Tastemaker Albums chart.

The nonet's most recent title track, "Talk that Talk" also continue to perform well on the Billboard charts. In particular, "Talk that Talk" ranked 49th on Billboard's Global Exclusive U.S. Chart and No. 75 on the Global 200 Chart.

Putting more feather to TWICE's hat, the JYP Entertainment Girl Group also made it to this week's Billboard Artist 100 Chart at No. 70. This is TWICE's 18th overall week on the Artist 100 chart proving the girl group's steady career growth in the United States.

TWICE is the best-selling K-Pop girl group of all time

JYP Entertainment recently revealed that TWICE's cumulative album sales in Korea and Japan have reached 14,687,757 copies. Since their debut in 2015, TWICE have released a total of 38 albums.

According to JYP, TWICE Korean albums have sold 9,807,784 copies based on the Circle Chart. This includes all of TWICE's Korean released from "The Story Begins" in October 2015 to "BETWEEN 1&2" in August 2022. The staggering numbers also includes member Nayeon's solo album, "IM NAYEON."

Meanwhile, JYP also shared TWICE's successful venture to Japan resulted to over 4,879,973 albums sold. The numbers include all of TWICE's Japanese albums from "#TWICE" in June 2017 to "Celebrate" in July 2022.

With almost 15 million albums sold throughout their seven-year career, TWICE is currently the best-selling K-Pop girl group of all time.
