But before being recognized as one of this generation's top stars, Bae Suzy struggled as a rookie actress.

In an interview with SBS's "MMTG," Bae Suzy recalled her time starring in her first K-Drama "Dream High" which was released in 2011. The drama was a rom-com series and it had Bae Suzy playing the role of the musical prodigy and classical music major Go Hye Mi.

Alongside Bae Suzy, "Dream High" also had current top actors and actresses in K-Drama such as IU, Kim Soo Hyun, Ok Taecyeon, and many more.

In SBS's "MMTG," Bae Suzy recalled the difficulties she faced during her time as a rookie. The then 16-year-old actress took on the role of Go Hye Mi in "Dream High" and it was Suzy's first as an actress on the small screen.

Bae Suzy explains how she barely remembers that there were lots of unrealistic scenes in "Dream High." But through it all, she told herself that it was a K-Drama after all.

Regardless, despite having minimal memory of her experience filming the K-Drama, one thing that Bae Suzy remembers was how busy her schedule was. The actress revealed that at one point, she had a hard time balancing her work.
