Jisoo was recently featured in an interview with Rolling Stone. In the interview, the BLACKPINK member revealed that the life she had in Gunpo, South Korea, is still close to how she is living as a member of the YG Entertainment girl group.
Jisoo's popularity has sky-rocketed through the years. Yet the idol does not think of herself as a big deal. As per Jisoo, she does not feel too differently. Her mom and dad are proud of her, but she herself does not feel like a world star.
The "Snowdrop" actress also does not like it when her friends worry about her too much when they go out.

"I'd go to see a play with friends, and they'd say, 'Can you move around like this? You're BLACKPINK!' Others say all the time, 'Hey, this is a huge deal!' It doesn't resonate with me much," BLACKPINK's Jisoo explained.
Jisoo really wants people to know that beyond her fame, she is just a simple girl. "I'm the same person that started training in high school. My social standing may have changed, but to me, I'm just too me," BLACKPINK's Jisoo revealed.
Furthermore, Jisoo talked more about how it is hard to be restricted. As a member of BLACKPINK, being able to move around freely is not as easy as most people may think.

BLACKPINK's Jisoo concluded, "My high school friends, who know me well, are still baffled that I'm doing this job, and doing it well. They thought I'd live simply, freely, doing whatever I want. I always had a strong desire to move around freely, no matter how I move around there are people who recognize me. And then I have to be careful."
