In a recent interview with Variety, GOT7's Jackson Wang was asked if he believed K-pop will always be popular. The interviewer from Variety noted that the popularity of genres is always evolving and asked the GOT7 member if he believed that K-pop would last.

GOT7's Jackson Wang answered the interviewer that he does think K-pop will last forever even though the genre is immensely entertaining and always evolving. The K-pop idol praised BLACKPINK and BTS as two K-pop groups that he respects and is very proud of.

"Artists like BTS, like Blackpink, I respect them in art. The direction that they're going, me as an audience watching, I'm proud," GOT7's Jackson Wang noted.

It is known that GOT7's Jackson is good friends with RM, the leader of BTS, and it is obvious that he respects not just RM, but all the BTS members. Fans are also happy to hear that he has similar love towards BLACKPINK.
