The teaser video focuses on the elite visuals and charisma of the six members of LE SSERAFIM, but beyond this, the K-pop girl group has recently gone viral due to all the wrong reasons.

Specifically in Korea, the first few scenes of the "Casting Call" teaser video garnered attention due to the name and props such as the "Audition Room" signs on the door. Notably, this made netizens believe the K-pop group's concept has a 'weird' vibe.

As per Korean netizens, the thought of having girls line up outside a door for them to pose in revealing outfits is somewhat quite close to what happens in Korean escort bars. Some fans have even expressed that it is quite weird for HYBE to think this concept for LE SSERAFIM is appealing to fans, given that some of the members are still minors.

A plethora of LE SSERAFIM fans shared their worries about the sexualization and also objectification of HYBE and Source Music of the members of the K-pop girl group. As of writing this article, both HYBE and Source Music have not released a statement regarding the issue.
