HYBE Officially Responds To Bullying Accusations Against LE SSERAFIM’s Kim Garam!
LE SSERAFIM's Kim Garam was recently accused by netizens of school bullying, underage smoking, and underage drinking. Following this, HYBE went on to drop a statement regarding the accusations against Garam.
HYBE posted their statement on Twitter and the company explained that through their investigation, all of the accusations against LE SSERAFIM's Kim Garam were not true.

"Hello, this is HYBE.
We would like to inform you about our position regrading suspicions raised against Kim Garam, who is confirmed to debut as a LE SSERAFIM member, a girl group from Source Music under HYBE.
Since yesterday, there have been accusations made against her on various online communities, and we have conducted our own internal investigation on these claims. The result of our investigation is as follows:
The accusations that maliciously slandered Kim Garam were maliciously edited to overemphasize the events that occurred during a time where she was making friends in her early middle school days.
Contrary to the claims, it was confirmed through a third-party statement that Kim Garam was actually a victim of school bullying such as cyberbullying and malicious rumors when she entered school.
In addition, it was confirmed that the contents posted were not true, such as that she was a trainee at another agency or that she leaked internal company documents.
We believe that these allegations made against her were done out of malicious intent to harm the artist who is about to debut, and we would like to inform you that we will take legal action against the spread of such distorted allegations and false information related to this case.
Therefore, we sincerely ask you to refrain from speculative reporting based on suspicions that are currently being raised online.
In addition, the accusations raised contain defamation of an individual's character, and she is still a minor before debuting as a celebrity. We would like to reiterate that we will take legal action without any chance of settlement.

HYBE also stated that they will take legal actions against those who accused LE SSERAFIM's Kim Garam of the aforementioned issues.
