JYP Entertainment's Stray Kids have gone through and tried out a myriad of music genres, and while netizens and K-pop fans would recognize their songs in a specific way, member Han does not want this to be the case.

Notably, Stray Kids released their album "ODDINARY" and the members of the K-pop boy group arduously talked about each track from their most recent album.

STAYs (the fandom name of Stray Kids) who have heard the album are familiar with the track "Freeze," which also has its own MV. The song seems like a dubstep-inspired track that fans can rock to. Stray Kids' Changbin even shared that it is a genre his K-pop boy group has wanted to work on since their track "Double Knot."

Stray Kids' "Freeze" was written and composed by the 3RACHA (Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han). Composer Trippy also had a hand as he assisted Bang Chan with the arrangement. It has been previously discussed that their most recent album proves how independent the K-pop group is.

Thus, when asked if "Freeze" has the sound the K-pop boy group wants to be assimilated with, Stray Kids' Bang Chan answered, "Why not? If people can dance and have fun while listening to our music we enjoy it a lot too. The flashier the better!"

But it seems like not all members want it this way as Han answered differently. When Han heard the song, the K-pop idol thought it felt synonymous with Stray Kids, but Han does not think that means it should be the sound that defines them.

As per Han, while they also love energy blasting, extravagant sounds, the K-pop idol hopes that the aforementioned type of songs does not become their defining sound.

"We have been and will be continuously creating many different colored tracks of many various genres. If we settle on our defining sound, I feel like it will not feel right when we make tracks using other genres," Stray Kids' Han explained.
