Specifically though, JYP Entertainment has been plagued with plagiarizing allegations as NMIXX's debut music video for their title track "O.O" seems similar to K-pop boy group ATEEZ.

Notably, the MV had several different concepts, ranging from strong and powerful to fun and cheery.

Notably, the diverse concepts in NMIXX's MV shows the variety of range the K-pop girl group can do. JYP Entertainment's new K-pop group is endorsed to have an experimental sound that mixes different genres together to create the new genre, MIXX POP.

Though most netizens and fans believe that the members of NMIXX have amazing visuals, outstanding talent, and heaps of potential, some have noted that the "O.O" MV has strong resemblance to another MV, specifically ATEEZ.

Netizens noted that some shots in the MV look similar to ATEEZ's MVs, specifically the "Illusion" music video. To be precise, ATEEZ is a K-pop boy group with a 'pirate' theme. Thus, a ship similar to the one in NMIXX's "O.O" MV was seen in their previous music videos.

Due to this, K-pop fans pointed out that the appearance of the ship in NMIXX's "O.O" MV is extremely close to plagiarism of ATEEZ's K-pop concept.

The studio that produced NMIXX's "O.O," DIGIPEDI, is a studio that ATEEZ have previously worked with, which could explain the similarities between the K-pop MVs. But it has been confirmed that DIGIPEDI did not produce ATEEZ's track "Illusion."

While most K-pop fans are aware that it is normal for different MVs to have similar concepts and themes, most MVs should have their own uniqueness. But NMIXX's "O.O" music video is similar to ATEEZ's MVs in a lot of ways.

Soon after the allegations regarding the NMIXX "O.O" MV went viral, the hashtag #JYP_표절논란_해명해 trended and K-pop fans are asking JYP Entertainment to explain the supposed plagiarism.
