IST Entertainment Postpones Premiered of Its Upcoming Boy Group Survival Show

The premiere of IST Entertainment's newest boy group project "THE ORIGIN - A, B, OR What?" has been delayed.

The upcoming boy group project "THE ORIGIN - A, B, OR What?" is produced jointly by Kakao Entertainment and Sony Music Solutions. The survival show will feature trainees being evaluated on their skills by senior K-pop artists, expert judges, as well as live audience members. "THE ORIGIN - A, B, OR What?" will give viewers a chance to see the trainees' growth potential as they compete to debut.

On behalf of the agency, MBN and Kakao TV's production team who is in charge of the whole program announced that the premiere of the boy group survival show scheduled on the 26th has been postponed. The production team cited that some of the trainees competing in the show tested positive for COVID-19.

"Last week, some of the trainees from the show were in poor condition and underwent preemptive PCR testing. As a result, they were diagnosed with COVID-19, and they are currently taking necessary measures in accordance with the guidelines of the disease control authorities," MBN and Kakao TV's production team explained.

Due to the current circumstances, IST Entertainment together with MBN and Kakao Tv decided to postpone the premiere of "THE ORIGIN - A, B, OR What?" from February 26 to March 19.

The production team asked for the understanding of fans.

"We ask for the generous understanding of the fans who waited with affection. We will continue to actively cooperate with the quarantine guidelines of the health authorities and do our best for the health and safety of the trainees and the production team," the MBN and Kakao TV production team assured fans and viewers.
