Jimin’s Return: Former AOA Member Uploads First Instagram Update Since Leaving The Group +More!

After being silent for a little over a year and a half, K-pop idol and former AOA member Jimin made her return to social media, specifically Instagram, to update fans on her upcoming projects.

A little less than 2 years ago, in July of 2020, Jimin parted ways with her K-pop girl group AOA and ended all activities after her former groupmate, Kwon Mina, revealed that she had been bullied by Jimin during her time as a member of AOA.

Since then, netizens have been making speculations and talking about rumors regarding the severity of the bullying allegations in the K-pop girl group. Notably, Dispatch even went on to release conversations of the AOA members in September of last year.

Jimin went on to post an apology on Instagram on the AOA bullying allegations on the 4th of July, 2020. After this, the K-pop idol went on to stop all activities in the K-pop entertainment industry, even fully going silent on social media.

But now, after a long silence, Jimin surprised her personal fans by welcoming her birthday with a special gift which was a brand-new song entitled "Suddenly." The K-pop idol did this via her very first Instagram post since parting ways with AOA.

Jimin's Instagram post was a video of her new song, captioning it:

"surprise gift for my dearest. out now. link in bio. #happyjiminday."

Fans swarmed the comments section with positive messages and encouragement. 

Could this possibly mean that Jimin is finally back to resume her career in K-pop? The former AOA member also updated her bio to have the link to her song on SoundCloud.
