Being An Actress, Future Projects, & More: Red Velvet’s Yeri Opens Up With Beauty+!

On the 30th of November, Beauty+, a popular magazine, featured Red Velvet's Yeri in a solo holiday party-themed photo shoot alongside an interview.

Notably, this is Red Velvet Yeri's first photo shoot in almost three months, and she sure showed how excited she was by becoming the very person to prepare drafts of what she wanted for the concept of the photoshoot and its style.

Prior to the photoshoot, aside from her group's comeback with "Queendom," Red Velvet's Yeri was able to participate in acting projects such as tvN's "Drama Stage - Mint Condition" and "Blue Birthday."

Due to this, Red Velvet's Yeri explained, "Since it was my first time doing this kind of work, I began after preparing myself to receive criticism, but I was fascinated that the response was good. Before that, I was a bit stern with myself but now I want to tell myself that I worked hard."

Red Velvet's Yeri even added that one of acting's greatest charms is that a person can achieve the result they want if they just focus on the moment. 

Regarding what Red Velvet's Yeri wants to do next, she noted that in a few years, she'll be at an age that doesn't suit school uniforms so she wants to try a student role one more time. She also noted that since she likes thrillers and traveling, she would want to do projects regarding those genres.

Regarding her bubbly and fun personality, Red Velvet's Yeri revealed, "I personally feel like I've recently changed a lot. In just a few years, I think I've changed for the better. Even from my friends, I occasionally hear that I've become more healthy and energized than in the past."

Moreover, Red Velvet's Yeri expressed her excitement in turning 24 by explaining that only good things happen when you're 24.

Lastly, when Red Velvet's Yeri was asked what kind of people will continue to influence her life moving forward, aside from hilariously picking Santa Claus, Red Velvet's Yeri shared, "I always want to be with people who make you feel happy and comfortable just by looking at them. I believe people who personally exude comfort and ease are cool."
