IU Bests SEVENTEEN & aespa With ‘Strawberry Moon’, Taking First Win On ‘Music Core’!

To the amazement of Uaenas, IU recently achieved another perfect all-kill on the charts with her most recent track, "Strawberry Moon"!

On the 23rd of October at 8:30 p.m. KST, iChart announced that IU's most recent digital single entitled "Strawberry Moon" has gone on to achieve a perfect all-kill, making this her third song to do so this 2021, to the delight of her fandom, Uaenas!

Notably, a perfect all-kill is awarded to a song that has topped the iChart weekly chart as well, aside from the previous feats!

To add to this, this is IU's third song this year to achieve a perfect all-kill. Her two previous songs that were able to achieve the incredible achievement were her two hit songs "Celebrity" and "LILAC." 

Prior to this, IU's "Strawberry Moon" also was able to garner a certified all-kill, which is awarded to tracks that sits on 1st place on the daily and 24Hits charts of Melon, the daily and real-time charts of Genie and Bugs, VIBE's daily chart, and the real-time charts of FLO and iChart! 

But it seems as though IU is not yet done achieving laurels as she recently got her first win with "Strawberry Moon"!

On the most recent episode of "Music Core," SEVENTEEN, IU, and aespa, were fighting for first place with "Rock With You," "Strawberry Moon," and "Savage," respectively.

After tallying the score, IU got her first win for "Strawberry Moon" as she garnered 6,797 points. SEVENTEEN's "Rock With You," and aespa's "Savage" got a score of 5,741 and 4,100, respectively.
