Fire & Blood Has Come: HBO Drops ‘House of the Dragon’ Teaser, Hyping GOT Fans!
"Gods. Kings. Fire. And blood. Dreams didn't make us kings, Dragons did," Prince Daemon Targaryen, played by Matt Smith, echoed in the teaser for the "Game of Thrones" prequel.
HBO's "Game of Thrones" is an immensely popular medieval fantasy series that ended on the 19th of May, 2019 and finally, fans will be returning to Westeros! But in an earlier time with "House of the Dragon".
The upcoming HBO show, "House of the Dragon", the very highly-anticipated prequel series to "Game of Thrones", is based on George R.R. Martin's 2018 novel "Fire and Blood" which is set 200 years prior to the events of "Game of Thrones".
HBO's "House of the Dragon" revolves around the history of House Targaryen and the "Dance of the Dragons", the Targaryen civil war.
Additionally HBO's "House of the Dragon" is slated to have 10-episodes and is slated to release in 2022, but no specific date has been announced. But just recently, HBO Max dropped the first official teaser for "House of the Dragon" on the 5th of October and fans are hyped!
The one-minute and seventeen-second teaser does not show much about the plot of "House of the Dragon", but it does give viewers a first look at the characters of the main show.
Among them is Matt Smith who plays Prince Daemon Targaryen, Emma D'Arcy who plays Princess Rhaenya Targaryen, and Olivia Cooke playing Alice Hightower.
Furthermore, HBO's "House of the Dragon" also have Paddy Considine playing King Viserys I Targaryen, Steve Toussaint casted as Lord Corlys Velaryon, Eve Best playing Princess Rhaenys Velaryon, Rhys Ifans playing Otto Hightower, and Sonoya Mizuno casted as Mysaria.
The fans also got their first look of the familiar 'Iron Throne'.
In addition, HBO also announced that three other "Game of Thrones" spinoffs are also in the works!
