Confirmed: YoonA And Kim Seon Ho To Lead Upcoming Rom-Com Movie

Various Korean news outlets announced that Girls' Generation YoonA and "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha" actor Kim Seon Ho are cast for their first movie project together.

According to reports, YoonA and Kim Seon Ho have been cast to lead the movie "Date at 2 O'Clock." The romantic-comedy film will be directed by Lee Sang Geun.

"Date at 2 O'Clock" is going to be a romantic-comedy film which will tell a warm but fairytale-like story that unfolds when a man meets a woman with a big secret living downstairs. The audience will follow the story of the two neighbors as they end up meeting every day.

Taking the role of the female lead with a big secret is YoonA. The casting of the idol turned actress is adding to the hype for the film as YoonA has been recognized for her acting skills through her movies like "Confidential Assignment," "Exit," and "The Miracle." 

The movie "Date at 2 O'Clock" will also be YoonA's second time working with director Lee Sang Geun. The two first worked together for the 2019 hit film "EXIT" which was seen by over 9.42 million viewers.

Meanwhile, rising actor Kim Seon Ho is cast to portray the male lead role for "Date at 2 O'Clock." According to reports, Kim Seon Ho immediately expressed his intention to appear in Lee Sang Geun's movie after reading the script.

Since his stint as the "good boy" Han Ji Pyeong for the 2020 hit drama "Start-Up," Kim Seon Ho has become one of the most in-demand actors in the industry. Currently, Kim Seon Ho is starring alongside Shin Min Ah for the drama "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha."

Filming for the movie "Date at 2 O'Clock" will start in March 2022. Aside from the casting of the lead actors, no other details were released about the upcoming romantic-comedy film.
