Kim Seon Ho In Talks To Make His Movie Debut As A Filipino-Korean Character?
Since his portrayal of the beloved "Good Boy" Han Jipyeong for the drama "Start-Up," Kim Seon Ho's popularity is sky-high.
Fans are swooning over the charming actor who is currently starring alongside A-list actress Shin Min Ah for the drama "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha." More good news for Kim Seon Ho's fans as he is reportedly in talks to make his debut on the big screen.
Various film industry insiders have reported that the "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha" actor has decided to star in the upcoming movie "Sad Tropics."
However, Kim Seon Ho's agency, SALT Entertainment, clarified that the actor has not decided yet but is positively reviewing the offer to star in "Sad Tropics."
In a phone call with Top Star News, SALT Entertainment stated, "It is true we received the offer but we are still in the process of reviewing it."
Should Kim Seon Ho decides to accept the offer, he will be working alongside hitmaker director Park Hoon Jung. Prior to "Sad Tropics," director Park Hoon Jung has worked on a variety of movies including "Night in Paradise," "The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion," "The Witch: Part 2. The Other One," "V.I.P," "The Tiger," "The New World," and "The Showdown."
Nothing is yet to be confirmed regarding the role offered to Kim Seon Ho but the movie is said to revolve around an aspiring boxer who has a Korean father and a Filipino mother. Various reports also project that filming for the movie will start this November.
Aside from portraying the lead character of Hong Doo Shik for the drama "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha," Kim Seon Ho is a regular cast member of the variety show "2 Days & 1 Night." Kim Seon Ho was also chosen as the winner for the "Most Popular Actor" award during the "Baeksang Arts Awards 2021."
