As noted previously, in most successful careers, when an individual artist that is filled with talent comes along, it is only normal for other popular artists to praise their works. This was recently evident as John Mayer himself commended BLACKPINK's Rosé for her rendition of his hit song.

A very popular US singer, John Mayer is credited for "Slow Dancing in a Burning Room" as this is one of his most popular hit tracks. Due to its popularity, BLACKPINK's Rosé decided to do her own rendition in a previous show and got the attention of John Mayer himself.

A couple of weeks ago on the 29th of June, JTBC's latest variety show "Sea of Hope," broadcasted its premiere episode and BLACKPINK's Rosé was featured as the new show's very first guest, to the delight of netizens and BLINKs (the fandom name of BLACKPINK).

Notably, in a now-iconic portion of the show, BLACKPINK's Rosé went on to perform a live cover of John Mayer's hit"Slow Dancing in a Burning Room." BLACKPINK's Rosé did this alongside SHINee's Onew, AKMU's Lee Suhyun, and Yoon Jong Shin.

One day after the broadcast, John Mayer went on his personal Twitter account and gave credit to the BLACKPINK member. Saying, "This is gorgeous @ygofficialblink #rosÉ."

Following this, as of writing this article, yesterday on the 16th of July, BLACKPINK's Rosé posted on her Instagram Stories to share photographs of a pink guitar that was given by none other than John Mayer.

In the story, BLACKPINK's Rosé commented, "Life is complete," adding a "Thank you," while also tagging John Mayer. Along with the guitar came a note from John Mayer which read, "Rosé, I should be thanking you! (So thank you.) -John."

Fans and netizens are hoping that perhaps in the future BLACKPINK's Rosé might have a collaboration with John Mayer.

Regardless, this sweet interaction between the two has netizens melting.
