Among the hundreds of thousands of musical artists around the world, only two K-pop artists have been chosen so far in a list from Billboard. ARMYs and BLINKs across the world once again celebrate as BTS and BLACKPINK's Rosé reaches a milestone.

As of writing this article, Billboard went on to drop a popular list; "The 50 Best Songs of 2021 So Far: Staff Picks!" This resulted in 50 top songs of 2021 so far (according to Billboard's staff) being collated and ranked.

Among the rankings, BTS' latest title track "Butter" and BLACKPINK's Rosé's debut song "On the Ground" were chosen and netizens and K-pop fans loved this.

HYBE's (formerly Big Hit Entertainment's) BTS, the most popular group in the world, entered Billboard's list with their latest digital single, "Butter." The BTS track went on to place 28th on the Billboard list. Not surprisingly, this is not the first time BTS released an English song.

BTS' "Butter" was preceded by their previous explosive 2020 hit, "Dynamite."

Billboard notably said, "Nothing succeeds like success, and after the explosive chart performance of BTS' 'Dynamite' back in 2020, BTS decided to return to their original formula - English-language lyrics, classic '80s pop maximalism, a simile-based chorus hook - for this year's 'Butter.'"

Surely it would have been a great shock if BTS was not able to make it on Billboard's list.

The other K-pop artist to make it on the list is YG Entertainment's BLACKPINK's Rosé with her debut track, "On the Ground," taking the 39th spot on Billboard's list. BLACKPINK's Rosé's "On the Ground" is the title song of her solo debut album, "R."

To give credit to BLACKPINK's Rosé, Billboard went on to compliment Rosé by saying that the song is an empowering and thoughtful track on finding purpose within yourself.

Congratulations to BTS and BLACKPINK's Rosé for entering the ranks of Billboard's "The 50 Best Songs of 2021 So Far: Staff Picks!"
