Netizens, individual fans, EXO-Ls, finally, the time has come. After more than a year of patiently waiting, diligently hoping, and nonstop praying, your favorite K-pop boy group, SM Entertainment's EXO, is finally releasing a group album!

It has been around 18 long months since EXO, also known as the Kings of K-Pop, has dropped a group album. But now, individual fans and EXO-Ls no longer have to wait, as EXO themselves recently just announced today, as of writing this article, that EXO is ending their hiatus with a special group album entitled "DON'T FIGHT THE FEELING."

On the 11th of May, approximately 12 a.m., EXO's official Twitter account uploaded a teaser GIF with the working title "DON'T FIGHT THE FEELING." EXO's GIF teaser is of a green radar that continuously scans the field.

As EXO's radar scans nonstop, it is noted that nine green dots keep appearing as the radar keeps scanning. Two dots are found in the upper quadrant, three dots on the right side, two dots on the bottom side, and two dots on the left side.

The green dots could signify the nine members of EXO as SM Entertainment's K-pop boy group currently has 9 active members.

Notably, EXO's last group album release was dropped previously in November of 2019. This happened when EXO dropped their 6th full album entitled "Obsession." EXO's album was released with only six members, though, as D.O., Xiumin, and Lay were not present.

Due to the recent teaser, a lot of EXO-Ls are happy and curious as to what EXO will have in store with their "special album." Mainly due to the announcement being a complete surprise.

It should also be noted that EXO's Sehun even teased the new album himself. EXO's Sehun shared that the members of EXO were also planning solo albums.

No matter the case, EXO-Ls will gladly support EXO releases. May it be individual or group!

Stay tuned for more updates.
