SM Entertainment's Red Velvet is the agency's most popular active K-pop girl group, but the girls have not had a comeback for more than a year now.

Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy, and Yeri's last comeback was on the 23rd of December, 2019, with their hit song, "Psycho." Since then, Red Velvet has not had a complete release. The closest release being Irene and Seulgi's "Monster."

The reason why the girls have not dropped anything as a group is because of Wendy's unfortunate accident in 2019, which caused her to take a hiatus for her to recover. Recently, Red Velvet's Wendy has come back and dropped her solo album "Like Water."

Now that Wendy is back, it is only a matter of time for Red Velvet to announce a comeback. Fans are hopeful that a comeback will happen after aespa's comeback, which was announced a couple of days ago.

Regardless of not having a comeback, SM Entertainment's Red Velvet is still cemented as one of the top K-pop girl groups today due to them still constantly garnering milestones

Recently, Red Velvet once again hit a milestone with its hit song "Peek-A-Boo" as it hit a certain amount of views on YouTube with its music video.

Not long after 12 p.m., Korean Standard Time on the 4th of May, Red Velvet's music video for track "Peek-A-Boo" went beyond 200 million views on YouTube.

This makes it Red Velvet's fourth music video to have reached 200 million hits. The first three being Red Velvet's "Bad Boy," "Psycho," and "Russian Roulette."

SM Entertainment's Red Velvet initially dropped the music video for "Peek-A-Boo" on the 17th of November, 2017. Approximately, it took "Peek-A-Boo" around 3 years and 5 months to reach this milestone.

Currently, Red Velvet's "Peek-A-Boo" has 200,094,531 views with 2.5 million likes and 144,932 comments.

Congratulations to Red Velvet! Hopefully, they will release a comeback soon as Reveluvs already miss their favorite K-pop girl group.
