Previously on the 25th of April, YG Entertainment's BIGBANG updated the K-pop boy group's Facebook profile picture

In the new photo, the members of BIGBANG G-Dragon, TOP, Taeyang, and Daesung were walking on a road. In a twist of events, Seungri, who was embroiled in a previous issue and was also reported back in 2019 to retire from the entertainment industry, was also in the photo.

At present, as of writing this article, the official website of YG Entertainment is making use of a photo that only contains the 4 members of BIGBANG as the K-pop group's profile photo. The members being G-Dragon, TOP, Taeyang, and Daesung.

Seungri was previously entangled in the controversy, "Burning Sun scandal." The issue happened back in 2019 and is a sexual scandal in South Korea, which involves multiple famous personalities such as K-pop idols and police officials, and the controversy is the biggest scandal to be connected to the K-pop industry

Additionally, Seungri has been previously connected to nine charges. Among the charges are illegal gambling, assault, and prostitution.

BIGBANG's Seungri was among the celebrities charged, but nevertheless, Seungri is still associated with much of BIGBANG even though he left the group in 2019.

To further add to the suspicions, BIGBANG's leaderG-Dragon, previously posted on his social media, Instagram, a photograph of BIGBANG containing five members. International fans treated the post more lightly and domestic fans were not as happy to see the post, including Seungri.

YG Entertainment has also not done anything to address the discomfort of some fans who are upset that Seungri is still associated with BIGBANG. This is further supplemented by the BIGBANG profile picture, which includes Seungri.

Will fans eventually accept Seungri back as a member of BIGBANG? Or will there always be a divide between the VIPs, the fandom of BIGBANG.
