DISPATCH: BIGBANG G-Dragon Is Dating BLACKPINK Jennie For One Year
On February 24th, South Korea notorious paparazzi, DISPATCH, revealed the newest K-Pop power couple, BIGBANG G-Dragon and BLACKPINK Jennie.
DISPATCH dropped the big news saying, "G-Dragon and Jennie fell in love. They developed from seniors and juniors to lovers. They are dating for the first year."
According to the report from DISPATCH, the couple enjoyed dating in a luxury villa in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, where G-Dragon is currently residing. Furthermore, the relationship shared between the two YG Entertainment artists is an open secret in the company.
In order to avoid the public eye, BLACKPINK Jennie and G-Dragon's usual hang-out place is the latter's villa. In particular, Jennie's manager has been consistent in dropping and picking up the BLACKPINK member.
In addition, reports revealed that even BLACKPINK Jennie's mother knew about the relationship between the two, "She is thankful that he takes good care of her."
Meanwhile, Dispatch also reported that just last January 31st, G-Dragon was spotted at the venue of BLACKPINK's online concert. Before that, Jennie was also spotted leaving G-Dragon's villa before going to her schedule.
As of the moment, there are no official statements from G-Dragon and Jennie themselves.
On the other hand, YG Entertainment did not directly confirm the reports and released a short statement saying, "It is difficult for the company to confirm as it is the artists' personal life. We hope you understand."
G-Dragon considered the "King of K-Pop," debuted with the group BIGBANG in 2006. He achieved great success both in his group and solo career. He has been the representative idol not just because of his songs but also his influence in fashion, having collaborated with huge brands such as Nike.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK Jennie is currently considered as this generation's "It Girl," being a member of one of the hottest girl groups globally. She has also worked with huge fashion brands and was chosen to be a muse of Chanel. This is her second public relationship after dating EXO member KAI in 2019.
