YG Entertainment's top female K-pop group, BLACKPINK, showed to the world that K-pop is indeed an unstoppable force and genre in the international music industry. The group previously had "As If It's Your Last" hit 1 billion views on YouTube, their fourth music video to do so.

As per the award show "World Music Awards," the quartet of Jisoo, JennieRosé, and Lisa tied the internationally acclaimed British rock band, Coldplay, on the list of bands with the most music videos that went beyond the one billion hit mark on YouTube.

With their unique concept, addictive dance steps, and powerful lyrics, YG Entertainment's BLACKPINK is the most popular girl group in the world. Not long ago, BLACKPINK's "BOOMBAYAH," Kill This Love," and "DDU-DU DDU-DU" also went beyond one billion views on YouTube.

Moreover, in the last year 2020, the private company Bloomberg dubbed YG Entertainment's BLACKPINK as the most popular and influential pop group in the globe. This was noted as per BLACKPINK's ranking on Pop Star Power Rankings

As of writing this article, YG Entertainment's BLACKPINK is the second most subscribed entertainer on YouTube. The K-pop girl group has over 60 million subscribers already and is rising by the day.

YG Entertainment's BLACKPINK reached one billion views back in 2019 on YouTube, and to further add to the girl group's acclaim, BLACKPINK is the first girl group to lead the Artist 100 chart.

In addition, BLACKPINK's other hit tracks such as "Ice Cream," "How You Like That," "Lovesick Girls," and "Kill This Love" are on YouTube's list of top 10 music videos that garnered the most views within the first day of their release.

BLACKPINK will keep rising as they are still a fairly young music group in the industry. Almost every song they release is secured to be a sure-fire hit.

Congratulations to YG Entertainment's BLACKPINK!
