Former iKON Leader & Main Dancer, B.I, Drops Official Name For His Fandom

On the 12th of June, 2019, former iKON leader and main dancer, following a drug issue that happened in 2016. Since B.I has been promoting as a solo K-pop artist. Initially, his fandom did not have a name, but recently he has dubbed his fans an official fandom name, and it is good!

On the 15h of April, B.I's agency revealed what his fan club would be called "ID." The fandom name, which stands for "identity," will now be what B.I fans will be labeled as. 

IDs, or Identitys will finally stand together as B.I's official supporters and fans.

B.I's agency, 131 Label, shared why they chose that fandom name, the reason being to signify that the fans of B.I complete the idol's identity. Moreover, B.I and his fans usually share each other's emotions, thus, they will grow together to build a new identity.

131 label, B.I's agency, officially announced this on their Twitter. Their Twitter post was translated as follows:

"[Dear. ID]

Unveiling B.I's official fan name.

'ID (BE IDENTITY/아이디)' is a name for people that completes B.I's identity. It means that B.I and 'ID' share each other's feelings and are growing together so that we together can build our new identity."

Congratulations to B.I for finally having an official fandom name and to all IDs all over the globe!

Moreover, B.I made a comeback on the 19th of March, 2021, with "Midnight Blue." All proceeds from the comeback were donated to World Vision to support children all over the world.

To add to recent K-pop idol's recent endeavors, previously on Mnet's "Kingdom: Legendary War," fans were furious as promos for iKON had B.I's likeness blurred. Mnet responded after multiple fans messaged them and showed their frustration online.
