Fans should look out for a different Park Hae Jin when JTBC rolls out its newest spy drama "Man to Man." The "Cheese in the Trap" star promised that the role is unlike any other role he has portrayed before.

This was a very interesting promise for fans who have seen Park Hae Jin transform from a brilliant heart surgeon in "Doctor Stranger," a brilliant serial killer in "Bad Guys", a brooding rich college student in "Cheese in the Trap." Who can forget how he caused many hearts to flutter with second lead syndrome in the hit series "My Love from the Star?" Still, Park Hae Jin maintained that fans will see a different side to him for the spy drama.

"This is the first character I've taken on in 10 years through which I was able to act however I wanted to. That's how fun working on this project was," Park Hae Jin said about his "Man to Man" character in a report by Soompi.  "It was really strange when filming ended for the drama and suddenly people were no longer referring to me as 'Sul Woo.'"

Park Hae Jin plays Kim Sul Woo, a secret agent who goes undercover to serve as the bodyguard of popular actor Yeo Woon Gwang, played by Park Sung Woong.  Man to Man PD Lee Won Suk said that aside from Park Hae Jin's different character, viewers should also expect a very different flavor of spy drama.

The Man to Man PD explained that the series is actually considered a melodrama that tells a simple story but does it in 'byung-mat' fashion, which means that fans can let their hair down and simply sit down to watch the show with nothing in mind other than enjoyment. The Man to Man PD said that fans should look forward to Park Hae Jin and Park Sung Woong's crazy and insane interactions in the series, Korea Portal reported.

Park Hae Jin and Park Sung Woong's Man to Man will air on JTBC starting Friday, April 21 at 11 pm. It will also be streamed in real time via Netflix which will make the show available with 20 subtitles for its nearly 100 million subscribers.
