BABYMONSTER's First Japan Dome Shows Land in Osaka Sept. 22
BABYMONSTER will headline Kyocera Dome Osaka for two nights on Sept. 22 and 23 - the group's first dome-level concerts in Japan, and the largest single stop yet on their "춤 (Choom)" World Tour. General tickets remain on sale for both shows.
The Osaka dates cap the Japanese leg of the tour, which has already run through Kobe, Fukuoka, Yokohama, Chiba and Nagoya since early July. Kyocera Dome holds roughly 36,000 for concerts, more than triple the capacity of the arenas BABYMONSTER played on their first world tour, "Hello Monsters," last year.
Tour Dates (Japan leg, remaining):
Sept. 22 - Osaka, Japan - Kyocera Dome Osaka, 7:00 p.m.
Sept. 23 - Osaka, Japan - Kyocera Dome Osaka, 3:00 p.m.
Tickets: General on-sale tickets for both Osaka shows opened Aug. 22 at 10:00 a.m. JST on a first-come, first-served basis, and both dates were still open for purchase as of this writing. The Sept. 22 show's window closes Sept. 19 at 6:00 p.m. JST; the Sept. 23 show's window closes Sept. 20 at 6:00 p.m. JST, or earlier if the show sells out first. Fans are limited to four tickets per show, and photo ID checks are conducted randomly at entry.

"Choom" is BABYMONSTER's second world tour, and it opened at Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul on June 26 alongside the release of the group's third EP of the same name. The tour has since been extended repeatedly - Manila, Macao and Jakarta were added in the months after the Seoul shows, with Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur dates announced for November. YG Entertainment has said additional legs across North America, South America and Europe are still to come.
Following Osaka, BABYMONSTER heads to Manila on Sept. 5 and Macao on Sept. 12, then on to Jakarta, Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur later in the fall as the tour keeps expanding across Southeast Asia.
