CORTIS surpassed 1 billion cumulative streams on Spotify on Friday, according to Big Hit Music, reaching the mark in 340 days since their August 2025 debut - faster than any K-pop boy group in history.

The five-member group - Martin, James, Juhoon, Seonghyeon and Geonho - hit 1,000,060,000 streams across just 13 songs: the 12 tracks from their two mini albums, "Color Outside the Lines" and "Greengreen," plus "Mention Me," their contribution to the soundtrack of Sony Pictures Animation's "Goat." The group added the final 100 million streams in under a month, having crossed 900 million on June 26. Big Hit Music says it's the highest cumulative Spotify total among any boy group that debuted in the past five years - a distinction made more pointed by how few songs it took to get there.

Lead single "RedRed," from "Greengreen," is doing most of the heavy lifting. The track has held the No. 1 spot on Spotify's Weekly Top Songs Korea chart for 13 consecutive weeks and has spent 13 weeks on the platform's Top Songs Global chart, currently sitting at No. 119 weekly and No. 161 daily. CORTIS's monthly listener count on Spotify has passed 12.7 million, with the largest concentration of listeners in the United States, followed by Indonesia, South Korea, the Philippines, Brazil and Japan.

"Greengreen" itself debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 in May - 12 spots higher than the group's debut EP - while "RedRed" crossed 100 million Spotify streams in 57 days, a record pace at the time. CORTIS became the first K-pop act to headline the NBA Crossover Concert Series' Opening Night at NBA All-Star 2026, and this summer they're the only K-pop boy group booked for Lollapalooza, playing Chicago July 31 and Aug. 1.

The billion-stream milestone lands just ahead of the group's first international tour, "2026 CORTIS Tour: Put Your Phone Down," which opens in Toronto on Aug. 4 and runs through six North American cities. Both the tour's Incheon and North American legs sold out entirely, and the Los Angeles stop on Aug. 13 will be broadcast live to movie theaters in more than 15,000 locations across 132 countries - the group's first cinema event. CORTIS closes out the run with a first-anniversary concert at Korea University's Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seoul on Aug. 22-23, a show that also sold out during presale.
