Late Night with Seth Meyers - Season 2

After being inducted into the "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame" and selling more than 80 million records around the world, Red Hot Chili Peppers is working really hard in releasing their latest 11th studio album for 2016.

As such, music fans worldwide were delighted to hear the news that the Red Hot Chili Peppers has finally announced that they have chosen a producer for their upcoming new album.

It was noted that super producer Danger Mouse was enlisted to take the responsibility of helping the band's musical direction in their new album, which was will be released in 2016, according to Roskilde-Festival.

"He's very good about coming up with super-modern ideas, but he'll also touch on the acoustic guitar in the control room and strip the song down to its acoustic essentials, which is a beautiful place to be," frontman Anthony Kiedis commented about working with producer Danger Mouse, as stated by Loudwire.

It was revealed last year that the seven-time Grammy Award winner band has already completed 30 songs for their new album.

"Flea owns a really great studio now," Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist Josh Klinghoffer said in an interview last summer, according to Gig Wise"I've been recording with the Chili Peppers every day. We've written musically 30 songs now. We sort of did this last time, which was my first album."

Furthermore, Klinghoffer compared the progress of their new album to the previous one, which reportedly had them making 50 songs to produce.

"We piled a shitload of stuff on Anthony and he actually came through. He wrote lyrics to 50 songs in the end. We recorded 50 last time. We released an extra 17 that didn't go on the album. We are conscious to not do that again, but we're already up to 28 or 30 songs," Josh further stated.

In a recent interview, Red Hot Chili Pepper's bassist, Flea, gave an update on the Los Angeles-based band's upcoming 2016 new album stating that the record is very emotional.

"He said the album has been finished musically for a while now, but they are still waiting on Anthony to track the vocals," Alternative Nation said of Flea's thoughts of Red Hot Chili Pepper's record. "He says the new album sounds very 'emotional'. He smells like a freshly opened pack of printer paper."
