Synopsis/Recap:

The episode begins with a recap of the battle between Goku and Freeza. Freeza is now in his Golden form and appears to have the upper hand. Below, everyone else watches the fight in fear. Except for Beerus and Whis, who eat the dessert brought by Bulma. Beerus suggests that Vegeta should the fight, but Whis notes that they two could never work together because of their pride.

Goku continues to struggle against Freeza. It appears that Freeza is finally going to kill Goku using one of his laser attacks, but Goku manages to withstand it. Vegeta yells up to take over the fight from Goku. Goku refuses, saying the battle will be interesting going forward. It seems that Vegeta and Goku have found Freeza's weakness.

Goku and Freeza power up and begin to spar again. The both send beams of power at each other and they appear to be equally matched. But then Goku gets hurt again. But then in the middle of a serious punch, Goku stops Freeza and claims that his time his up. He punches Freeza down.

Goku points out to Freeza that his new form drains his physical strength and thus he no longer has the strength to fight. Basically, Freeza had not trained his new Golden form properly. Freeza tries one last punch and Goku stops it with ease.

Goku powers down stating that there's no reason to keep fighting while Freeza cries in his weakness. Then suddenly, Sorbet fires a ray gun beam through Goku's torso. Goku hits the ground.

Freeza is about to take off Goku's head until Vegeta steps in.
