First Draft Reveals 'Lego Movie 2' Spoilers; Doctor Who Joining The Cast?
It is time to piece them all together as reports build up to give fans of the Lego franchise more details about the much anticipated "Lego Movie 2" with its cast topped with more spoilers surrounding the film.
For the upcoming sequel, writers Phil Lord and Chris Miller are now solely taking the reins of the franchise's sequel, Comic Book revealed.
Like Lego blocks pieced and joined together, Miller and Lord have finally finished the first draft of the film's script.
"Just turned in the official draft of 'LEGO Movie 2,'" Miller tweeted.
With the recent "Lego Movie 2" development, fans over at Twitter can't help but react as they reply and express their excitement.
"I look forward to what magic you have come up with," Jack The Ripper replied tagging @chrizmillr @BZP_Tweets over on his Twitter page.
Rumors and spoilers, that were soone confirmed, pointed out that the sequel went through some changes regarding who will take the helm and direct.
In addition, "Lego 2 Movie," as stated by ScreenRant, is just one of the many upcoming Lego movies planned to be released by Warner Bros.' umbrella.
Spoilers that surface around the internet also revealed that Rob Schrab, from the TV series "Community," will be directing the sequel, due to the fact that Miller and Lord will be focused on directing the "Star Wars Anthology Han Solo," which is scheduled to be released in 2018.
It was also revealed that Rob Schrab and the film's team are currently negotiating with BBC to include the appearance of a Doctor Who star in the sequel to join Emmet and Wildstyle in the cast, as reported by IO9 Gizomodo.
However, there weren't any further details to confirm if the inclusion of Doctor Who in the film's cast is merely a cameo or a prominent role in the story.
"Lego 2 Movie" release date is set on Feb. 10, 2017.
