'Call Of Duty Black Ops 3' DLC News: Developer Gives Tips To PS4, Xbox One, PC Users
Two months after "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" was released, it was formerly announced that the downloadable content for the popular video game was made available to PS4. In whatever way, it seems that the upcoming "Awakening" DLC will only ship out in three out of five platforms.
According to Video Gamer, Activision has not listed the availability of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" Awakening DLC on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The delay was no surprise since the game developer previously gave warning that the individual DLC packs of the said platforms may differ.
"The lack of DLC is the latest in a string of features cut from the last-gen versions of Black Ops 3, joining the game's campaign and the series' traditional 60fps frame rate," Video Gamer stated in a report.
"Nuketown 2065, one of the game's pre-order bonuses, was also only available in the PS4, Xbox One and PC versions of the game."
The "Awakening" DLC comes in pack with four brand new maps namely Rise, Splash, Gauntlet, and Skyjacked. An all-new chapter in Zombies mode of "Black Ops 3" is also included.
Activision released a new guide in its official blog (via IBT) and stressed out the GobbleGums, an additional feature that give players offensive and defensive tactics.
"Players can choose to use either the Classic GobbleGums or the Mega GobbleGums. As per the names, Classic GobbleGums are more common, and players will have five of them at the start, each with different attributes per GobbleGum. Mega GobbleGums are more powerful, but also rarer to come by. These are unlockable only with the Vials of Liquid Divinium as obtained in Dr. Monty's Factory," the site stated.
"GobbleGums can be crafted using the Vials of Liquid Divinium. This commodity can be obtained in two ways -- either as playing in the Zombies mode or by purchasing Call of Duty Points, which is the in-game currency. The good thing here is that players who will use Vials of Liquid Divinium will surely get a Mega GobbleGum."
The Awakening DLC will be available on PS4 first on February 2. Xbox One and PC users will get to enjoy the newest map pack of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" thirty days later.
