Newly-Released Awesome 'Legends Of Tomorrow' Trailer Promos Feature Hawkman And Heatwave

With "Legends of Tomorrow" release date just a few weeks, fans are getting spoiled with more new clips featuring a slew of characters being released.

The latest "Legends of Tomorrow" trailer promo focuses on Carter Hall/Hawkman (Falk Hentschel) as well as some suspicious characters dropping their mission for selfish reasons.

"Legends of Tomorrow" release date is set Jan. 21, the same week as the mid-season premiere of "The Flash"s season 2 and "Arrow" season 4, two shows where it was spun from.

Although the show will feature a number of protagonist, it will not lack a villain. Just last month, it was joined by Matt Nable who will reprise his "Arrow" season 3 role Ra's al Ghul.

Also in the show is "Arrow" season 4 main villain Damien Darhk portrayed by Neal McDonough.

The main villain all season long is Vandal Savage (Casper Crump) who has been introduced in two crossover episodes between "The Flash" and "Arrow."

Executive producer Phil Klemmer said they chose Vandal Savage as the main villain because his powers and abilities can match the eight protagonists.

"With Vandal, with any villain, the trick is always to find somebody commensurately evil or formidable," Klemmer, known for his works on "Veronica Mars" and "Chuck" said in an interview with Comic Book Resources.

He added, "We have an ensemble of eight-plus heroes -- you have to come up with a version of the antichrist if you want it to feel like it's anywhere close to being an even challenge between the black hats and the white hats; although in truth most of our guys are sort of gray hats. Coming up with an immortal seemed like the only way that we could have a bad guy who matched our team."

"Legends of Tomorrow" cast is headlined by Wentworth Miller, Arthur Darvill, Brandon Routh, Victor Garber, Dominic Purcell, Caity Lotz, and Ciara Renee.
