'American Horror Story' Season 6: Ashley Rickards, Jessica Lange May Return; Emma Roberts' Comeback In A Devilish Act?

"American Horror Story" co-creator Ryan Murphy may feature the return of Ashley Rickards and Jessica Lange in the upcoming season 6. Based on the hints Murphy gave, Emma Roberts is set to appear on the sixth season for an "amazing and devilish" act.

Although "American Horror Story" has not done yet with the season 5, the actors who had appeared in the previous episodes are looking forward for season 6.

Ashley Rickards, who became part of the first season entitled "Murder House," said in an interview with Fashion & Style that she wanted to be part of the upcoming show.

"I hope that [my statement] ends up on a Google Alert with Ryan [Murphy] and Brad [Falchuk]," Rickards told Hollywood Life in an interview. "Because I am dying to go back on the show. I love that show."

Additionally, Rickards commended Lady Gaga's performance as The Countess. She said the pop star was the perfect person to portray the superhuman character.

According to Movie Pilot, show's co-creator had previously given hint to fans about the return of Jessica Flange in season 6. Murphy confirmed that the Oscar-winning actress will play a significant role in the upcoming season.

Murphy also revealed that Emma Roberts is slated to appear in the sixth installment of the show. Roberts was scheduled to appear on the "American Horror Story: Hotel," but owing to her busy schedule, she was not able to join the current installment.

Thus, the "Scream Queens" star supposed appearance in season 5 was moved in season 6. Murphy said that her role would be "amazing and devilish," reported Movie News Guide.

As for the plot of "American Horror Story" Season 6, speculations involve a summer camp setting in the woods, aliens and an apocalypse. Although there is no official synopsis yet, it can be expected that the show will stick to depicting huge destruction in the woods setting.

Murphy also mentioned that the possibility of airing two seasons in the same year 2016, one in spring and the next is fall.

"American Horror Story" season 5 airs Wednesdays 10p.m. on FX. The date for the season 6 premiere has not been revealed yet.
