Faraday Future's New Car Revealed; FFZERO1 Specs Announced With 1000-Horsepower Engine!
CES 2016: Faraday Future has unveiled a prototype of an electric super-car with a 1000-horsepower engine. The company has been one of the most closely watched ones in the automobile industry mainly because it hasn't revealed a single product yet. Its in steath mode, but has made big claims about its future ventures.
The two-year-old electric car company has given the world a glimpse of how it plans to shake up the automobile industry with its new feature car that looks like a hybrid of a Formula One race car and the Batmobile. The car seats only a single person and includes a helmet which supplies the driver with oxygen and water. The driver seat was inspired by NASA's research on zero-gravity conditions, a situation the drivers of last year hasn't encountered. A key differentiator could be the car's ability to modify the chasis of its vehicles, the variable platform architecture. The length of the vehicle and number of batteries and motors can all be easily modified, allowing it to sell new types of cars quicker, reducing manufacturing time and limit.
According to The Washington Post, the Faraday Future officials said they will be selling this car in a couple of years' time and are about to be breaking grounds on a 3 million square factory in Nevada. Theyre boldly taking on rivalling companies by not believing that having a legacy in the industry might matter.
The company's senior vice president said, "We're embarking on nothing less than a complete rethink of what mobility means and how it must be part of our larger world," and added that, "We have to look at the forces affecting the way people move about today as well as tomorrow and we have to ask, 'How can we design vehicles that respect and even enhance the environment?'."
According to Jalopnik, the electric car startup company has come up with the new concept car" Faraday Future car- FFZERO1 as "the most extreme iteration of what it can build". With such new buzzwords leaving most of us wondering what was it going to be, two company officials according to whom 'There is a real car out there testing on actual roads. We just haven't seen it yet'.
